I lived in Taggart for my Sophomore year and I was always just a couple of steps away from almost everyone in my program. It was really cool to to be in such a close group of people. We all work in the basement together when projects were due and had so many stories to tell about what happened while working. It's also really nice because you have the business building, where all of your graphic design classes are, right across the street. I really wish that i could have been living there in my freshmen year because my first year I didn't have those people around to help me out. Overall the Taggart experience is a great choose for any new or existing graphic design student.

I loved my experience at Taggart. I certainly took advantage of the free printing in the computer lab; it sure saved me some money. As Al said, living so close to the business building was extremely convenient. I could leave 5 minutes before class started and I was still right on time. So you've got the business building on one side of you and the Rock (dining center) on the other side. Although I didn't live on the "graphic design floor" (first floor) I was still a short walk away from my classmates. Overall it was a great experience that I believe all design students should take advantage of for as long as you live on campus.

I lived in Taggart both Freshmen and Sophomore year, and have worked there all 3 years I've been at Ferris. Taggart is awesome...it's really the experience of a lifetime. It's a community hub where design students (and other students!) live and breathe together. There's always students stopping by the front desk asking about printing issues, or design help, or advice. And the Mac lab is open 24 hours with free color printing...design students are swarming to and from it constantly. I made a lot of friends living in Taggart, and even though I live off campus now, working there still gives me the inside-scoop to the Taggart lifestyle.

Because I was in Honors, I wasn't able to live in Taggart and I definalty wish i could have! I really felt like everyone else in my classes who lived together in taggart were able to hang out and talk about stuff way more than I was able to, it was lonley! :(
I was able to meet a lot of people who werent in the program, which was nice, but I still think that i would have liked to live with all of my freinds now in the program.
